The age of the suite is clearly determined by numerous plant remains, collected by the author in the section near the village of Shagon. This complex corresponds to the Bathonian age (Luchnikov, 1973). Previously, the entire Deikalichskaya Suite was conditionally assigned to the Middle Jurassic (based on its occurrence between the Lower and Middle Jurassic Gring and Upper Jurassic Sarynamakskaya suites).
